The Eighth National Congress of the National Union of Labor in Morocco, held in Bouznika on March 18 and 19, 2023, under the slogan “Fifty Years of Continuous Struggle for Social Justice”, elected Mr. Mohamed Zouiten as Secretary General.

After Mr. Abdelilah Al-Halouti, former Secretary General, led the National Labor Union in Morocco for two consecutive terms (from 2015 to 2023). And by virtue of the fact that the laws regulating the federation do not allow him to assume the position of Secretary General for more than two terms, and given the experience accumulated by Mr. Abd al-Ilah al-Halouti, he was elected president of the National Council of the Federation

The eighth congress of the National Labor Union in Morocco elected, Sunday 19 March 2023, during the second day of its work, Abdelilah Dahman as first deputy secretary-general, Hamid bin Cheikh as second deputy, Moulay Abdel Aziz al-Yousfi as third deputy, Halima Chouika as fourth deputy, and Reda Chrouf as fifth deputy.
