Oscars 2022 red carpet coverage: Time, TV channels, how to watch online – OregonLive

Oscars red carpet 2022
The 2022 Oscars ceremony airs on Sunday, and after two years of pandemic-impacted broadcasts, producers are hoping the 94th Academy Awards will represent an attempt to get back to normal. Or what passes for normal, anyway, in these unpredictable times. Among other things, that means that Oscar red carpet coverage is back in a big way this year, with programming scheduled on ABC and the E! channel.
Here are highlights of what’s coming up, as the stars prepare to arrive at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre.
“Live From E! Oscars”: Actor Laverne Cox hosts one of the biggest events of the year for the E! channel, interviewing celebrities and nominees. The broadcast will, according to E!, also include behind-the-scenes access, and ongoing fashion commentary from a panel that features Karamo, from “Queer Eye”; stylist Brad Goreski; pop culture expert Naz Perez; and E! style correspondent Zanna Roberts Rassi. Also on hand will be E! News’ “Daily Pop” cohost Justin Sylvester, and Jacqueline Coley, of Rotten Tomatoes.
Time: 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET Sunday, March 27
Channel: E!
Online: You can watch the E! channel live stream on fubo TV, which offers a free trial. E! also offers a digital show, “Live From E! Stream: Oscars,” which begins at 3:30 p.m. PT/6:30 p.m. ET, and can be found at @enews Twitter, eonline.com and the E! News app.
“The Oscars Red Carpet Show”: This is the official ABC pre-Oscars show, which will also feature interviews with arriving stars, presenters and nominees. The hosts are actors Vanessa Hudgens and Terrence J and fashion designer Brandon Maxwell (”Project Runway”).
Time: 3:30 p.m. PT/6:30 p.m. ET Sunday, March 27
Channel: ABC
Online: You can live stream on fubo TV, which offers a free trial.
And don’t forget, the 94th Oscars broadcast begins at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 27 on ABC. You can also watch a live stream on fubo TV.
