The 2022 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament reaches its Sweet 16 stage, with eight games set to start on Friday, March 15 (3/15/2022).
It all gets started with No. 1 South Carolina vs. No. 5 North Carolina at 7 p.m. on Friday, and the March Madness action continues into Saturday. The Sweet 16 games will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN2, and can be streamed on fuboTV, Sling and other live TV services.
Will this be the round where a No. 1 seed finally gets upset in the women’s tournament? So far, all four top seeded teams – Louisville, NC State, South Carolina and Stanford – have coasted through the tournament, with double digit leads in every game, and some devastating blowouts, like Stanford’s Round 1 win over Montana State, 78-37.
Elsewhere in the bracket, 10-seeds South Dakota and Creighton both managed to upset their 2-seed opponents, Baylor and Iowa respectively, in Round 2.
