Daddy Yankee, we hardly knew ye.
The 45-year-old “King of Reggaeton” just announced he’s releasing a new album, then retiring from music after his upcoming La Ultima Vuelta World Tour.
To close things out, Daddy Yankee’s final concert will be at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Sept. 20.
On Instagram, he explained his actions sharing a heartfelt video with the caption, “AL FIN VEO LA META” which translates to “I finally see the goal.”
In the video, Yankee adds, “I’m going to give my best production, best concert tour and I’m going to say goodbye celebrating these 32 years of experience.”
If you want to say goodbye to one of the founders of reggaeton, here’s everything you need to know.
Where can I buy tickets to see Daddy Yankee?
Tickets go on sale to the general public Wednesday, March 30 at 10 a.m. EST for all shows.
If you don’t want to wait until then, you can find seats right now on StubHub, Vivid Seats, SeatGeek, TicketCity and MegaSeats.
It’s common for speculative tickets to show up on the secondary market first, but be aware that prices may be more expensive than when they go on sale to the general public.
Where is Daddy Yankee going on tour?
For a goodbye tour, Yankee is only playing a limited number of shows in North America.
The owner of the “most streamed track worldwide” with 4.6 billion plays is hitting just 16 venues on the La Ultima Vuelta World Tour.
We’ve listed them all below with dates, venues and links to buy tickets.
