New Mexico State vs. Abilene Christian, WAC Tourament championship game: Live updates, how to follow – Las Cruces Sun-News

LAS VEGAS — The New Mexico State Aggies and Abilene Christian Wildcats will play for a Western Athletic Conference Tournament championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament Saturday at 7 p.m. PST/8 p.m. MST at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, NV. 
NMSU advanced to the championship game after knocking off Grand Canyon 75-70 in the semifinal round Friday night, the only game the No. 1 seed Aggies have played in the WAC Tournament so far. The sixth-seeded Wildcats defeated Utah Valley 82-74 in the first round, Stephen F. Austin 76-62 in the second round and Seattle 78-76 in the semifinal round.

The Aggies are playing in their 10th-consecutive WAC Tournament championship game and will look to return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019. The Wildcats have qualified for the conference title game in their first season in the WAC, although they aim to make their third straight March Madness appearance with a victory.

NMSU is a 5.5-point favorite.
